In 2007 I created a grass roots social organization focused on conservation, parenting and community. In 2008 we focused on meeting at the Green City Market and earth friendly play dates introducing the Reuse Tuesday, We Garden Wednesday & Rethink Thursday kids series. In 2009 we partnered with the Alliance for the Great Lakes and the Chicago Conservation Corps to adopt two beaches for the season. Our group cleaned the beaches monthly, collected more than 400lbs of debris and managed critical environmental reporting with the Alliance.
